TREE OF LIFE

The "TREE OF LIFE" symbolizes a new beginning in life, positive energy, good health, growth, and a bright future. As the tree ages, it achieves immortality through its seeds, which contain its very essence. Our "TREE OF LIFE" represents the entire cycle of life: birth, growth, and death. This concept is rooted in the sacred tree, which appears in various symbolic forms across many ancient territories, cultures, and religious beliefs, including Persia, China, Mesopotamia, Judaism, and North America, as well as in Zoroastrianism, Urartu, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, and Islam. This work measures approximately 9.50 x 3.50 meters and includes around 3500 hand-painted ceramic flat tiles of different geometric shapes, 360 irregular pyramids composed of stainless-steel mirrors, and thousands of hand-painted ceramic pieces with Persian calligraphic motifs. "Tree of Life" is a joint creation by Leila Farzaneh and Kamran Afshar Naderi , donated to IFCM in Lyon, France, in February 2019. The Reef and Beef Project

The handcrafted Farzaneh tiles used in the Reef and Beef Downtown project in Dubai significantly contribute to the luxurious and sophisticated ambiance of the restaurant. The tiles feature intricate patterns and rich textures, which add depth and visual interest to the floors and walls. These handcrafted tiles not only enhance the visual appeal of the space but also create a sense of elegance and exclusivity. Their placement throughout the restaurant, from the vibrant red tiles in the hallway to the geometric black-and-white tiles in the bar area, showcases a thoughtful and cohesive design approach.
